A weird feedback for the soon-to-release films Auron Me Kaha Dum Tha and Ulajh has come up. The Ajay Devgn and Janhvi Kapoor starrer films are set to hit box office on Friday, August 2nd in the theatres nation-wide. However, all the promotion and PR for the two seems to be of no use as both the Bollywood projects witnessed a devastating pre-sales collection.
As per the reports released by Bollywood Hungama, the Neeraj Pandey directorial Auro Me Kaha Dum Tha failed to sell even 1000 of tickets in the pre-booking slot across the top 3 national cinema chains – PVR, INOX and Cinepolis. On the other hand, Janhvi Kapoor and Gulshan Devaiah starrer film Ulajh stooped even lower. The thriller-film sold less than 750 tickets among the 3 popular theatrical chains during its advanced -ticket booking period.
While initially the assumptions for the film’s viewership were high, the pre-sales collection indicates towards a possibility of a lower-opening collection at the box office. Bollywood Hungama claims that the pre-sales performance for the two are lower than the Akshay Kumar starrer Sarfira.
To everyone’s surprise, the makers of the film announced a special discount as an offer to ignite their pre-sales collection. However, it had no impact on the viewers as the tickets collection reaching a range of 750 and 1000 is shocking for all. Possibly, the projects would not hit more than a crore or two on its first-day.
