Exciting news for Spider-Man fans—Tom Holland’s Spider-Man 4 now has a new release date! The highly anticipated film will take a bit longer to hit theaters, as Sony Pictures announced on Friday that the release date has been moved to July 31, 2026, a week later than originally planned.

The movie, which is currently untitled, will be directed by Destin Daniel Cretton. Initially, the film was scheduled to premiere on July 24, 2026. With this new release date, Spider-Man 4 will debut in theaters after Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, in which Tom Holland plays a significant role.

In a recent installment of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Tom Holland stated that filming for the fourth Spider-Man film is set to start in mid-2025, according to Hollywood Reporter. “Next summer, we will start shooting. Everything’s good to go — we’re nearly there,” Tom said, sharing his excitement about the same.

Tom Holland has previously portrayed Peter Parker in three Spider-Man films, all directed by Jon Watts: Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), and Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021).
