Raashii Khanna recently discussed her reasons for taking on this project. She said, “When I get an opportunity to showcase the truth, I will be right in the forefront.” Sharing insights about its message and what audiences can expect from the trailer, “There are a lot of things that would probably also be revealed in the trailer.” She further noted how important it was for her to understand the events that shaped our history. As a journalist in the film, she feels a duty to present the truth, stating, “We do have social responsibilities as actors and our team worked hard to create something that showcases the truth. And that’s what attracted me to the film, otherwise I would have never done it.”
With ‘The Sabarmati Report’ set to release in theatres on November 15, audiences are looking forward to seeing how the film addresses such a sensitive topic. It promises to engage viewers and encourage them to think about events that have had a lasting effect on the country.
