Agastya Nanda, Bollywood’s Emerging Star Kid, Declines Laxman Role In Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayan’

In the much-anticipated movie adaptation of Ramayan, Ranbir Kapoor is set to portray the iconic character of Lord Ram.

In a recent development, the rising star kid Agastya Nanda, poised to make his Bollywood debut in Zoya Akhtar’s “The Archies,” has turned down an offer to play the role of Laxman in Nitesh Tiwari’s adaptation of the epic “Ramayan.” According to the latest reports from Rediff, Agastya has made this career move due to his packed schedule and growing commitments.

A reliable source closely associated with Agastya’s career development shared with Rediff, “Agastya has a busy schedule. He has just wrapped up his work on ‘The Archies’ with Zoya Akhtar and is gearing up for ‘Ekkis’ with renowned filmmaker Sriram Raghavan. At this crucial juncture in his career, taking on a supporting role is not on his agenda.”

In the much-anticipated movie adaptation of “Ramayan,” Ranbir Kapoor is set to portray the iconic character of Lord Ram, while Sai Pallavi is confirmed for the role of Sita, and Yash is rumored to be considered for the character of Ravan.

On a different note, “The Archies,” in which Agastya Nanda stars as Archie Andrews, is all set to grace Netflix screens on December 7. The musical production also features Suhana Khan, the daughter of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, as Veronica, and Khushi Kapoor, daughter of the late Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, in the role of Betty Cooper.

Furthermore, the movie boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, Yuvraj Menda, Aditi Dot, Delnaaz Irani, and several others in pivotal roles, promising an exciting cinematic experience for audiences.
