    SC to Centre, states: Transport migrants to their native places within 15 days

    The Supreme Court has directed the Centre and states to transport migrant workers back to their hometowns within 15 days. All cases registered against migrants for alleged lockdown violation are to be considered for withdrawal, the court added.

    Nirbhaya convict files petition in SC after Delhi court fixes date of execution

    One of the Nirbhaya gangrape and murder convict, Vinay Kumar Sharma, on Thursday filed a curative petition before the Supreme Court. This comes after a Delhi court issued a death warrant against all the four convicts and fixed January 22 as the date of execution.
