Following the sudden passing of businessman and polo player Sunjay Kapur, his family gathered in New Delhi on June 19 to bid him a final goodbye. Among those who attended the funeral were his former wife Karisma Kapoor and their children along with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan and other close relatives. In the middle of this painful moment, Sunjay Kapur’s sister Mandhira Kapur Smith shared a heartfelt tribute online.
Taking to Instagram, Mandhira posted an unseen old selfie with Sunjay and their sister Superna Kapur Motwane. Smiling brightly in the picture, the three siblings looked carefree – unaware that this would later become a memory many would hold dear. “We are incomplete without you,” she wrote in the caption, a simple line that captured the depth of her grief.
Sunjay Kapur’s sister wasn’t the only one expressing her loss. Friends and celebrities including Bhavana Panday and Sikander Kher, sent love and strength to the Kapur family in the comments.
Sunjay passed away in England earlier this month following a tragic accident during a polo match. Reports state that he accidentally swallowed a bee mid-game, triggering a severe allergic reaction. Despite medical attention, the situation turned fatal.
