After the massive success of the 2018 film, Stree, the horror comedy is back with another sequel to the franchise. Directed by Amar Kaushika, Stree 2 serves as the fifth installment in the Maddock Supernatural Universe. From the cast, and release date, to advance booking and more, here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming Bollywood horror comedy film, “Stree 2”.

Stree 2 Release Date

The horror comedy film, Stree 2 will be released in the theatres tomorrow on 15 August 2024.

Stree 2 Cast

Rajkummar returns as Vicky, with Shraddha reprising her mysterious nameless role. Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana, and Sunita Rajwar also reprise their roles. New to the cast is Tamannaah Bhatia, who not only makes a special appearance as Shama in the song “Aaj Ki Raat,” but also plays a key role in the movie. In the Stree 2 trailer, Tamannaah’s character is seen being dragged by a likely supernatural antagonist.

Stree 2 Story/Plot/Synopsis

In this new horror-comedy, the plot centers around a headless monster named Sarkate, who terrorizes the small town of Chanderi by abducting women. As fear spreads, Vicky, Rudra, Jana, Bittu, and Shraddha’s still-unnamed characters come together to devise a strategy to defeat Sarkate. The trailer reveals that Sarkate was responsible for transforming Stree into the vengeful spirit that once haunted men. In a twist, Vicky decides to enlist Stree’s help to take on the headless menace.

Stree 2 Advance Booking

Shraddha Kapoor starrer “Stree 2” is expected to secure a double-digit opening at the box office. As per Sacnilk, Stree 2 has already sold 4 Lakh tickets and has collected Rs 11.4 Cr only through the advance booking itself.
