Sheeba Agarwal, also known as Sheeba Akashdeep Sabir, has been a popular actress in the 90s who was starred alongside major Bollywood actors like Sunil Dutt, Akshay Kumar, Anil Kapoor and more. She also worked with Salman Khan in the 1992 film Suryavanshi, a fantasy horror film. In a recent exclusive interview, Sheeba shared Salman Khan’s shocking prank played on her during the film’s shoot, leaving her completely startled.
Sheeba Reveals Salman Khan’s Unexpected Jumping Prank
As Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is famous for his pranks, during the conversation with Lehren Retro, Sheeba was asked about her experience working with Salman Khan and if he ever played pranks on her. She recalled a particular stunt scene from Suryavanshi, where both of them had to jump from a height in the film. Salman had to go first, followed by Sheeba.
Sheeba’s Shocking Experience
The Mr. Bond actress admitted that she was nervous about the jump but Salman reassured her. He promised that if he could do it safely, she could too. Sheeba watched as Salman completed the jump and encouraged her from below shouting, “Jump, jump! Nothing happened. See, I did it!” Trusting his words, Sheeba finally took the leap.
But as soon as she landed, Sheeba felt a sudden jolt throughout her body. She recalled, “Dhad! karke I jumped aur itni zor se mujhe shock lagi na body mein with the impact. Mujhe itna lag gaya ki I started screaming ‘What the hell, itni zor se mujhe lag gayi, you said kuch nahi hua!’” Salman then laughed and admitted, “Mujhe bhi laga tha jhatka but if I tell you, you won’t jump.” Sheeba realized that it was a quite a well-planned prank to make sure she completed the scene. However, she emphasized that despite the prank Salman was sweet and fun to work with and he has always been supportive on set.
Suryavanshi, directed by Rakesh Kumar, featured an ensemble cast including Salman Khan, Sheeba, Amrita Singh, Shakti Kapoor and more. Despite its unique fantasy horror theme, the film failed at the box office. However, the actress Sheeba cherishes her memories from the shoot, especially the camaraderie with Salman Khan.
