Following a series of challenges, Shanaya Kapoor, the offspring of Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor, is poised to make her debut in Bollywood with the romantic film, Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan. During an event where her co-star Vikrant Massey revealed the film’s teaser, Shanaya was observed becoming emotional and dabbing her tears.
In the video, Shanaya is seen radiating elegance in a shimmering silver saree paired with a vintage hairstyle. At the event, Vikrant presented the initial teaser of Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan and encouraged the audience to embrace the film with affection, which moved Shanaya to tears. The actress was observed drying her eyes as the crowd applauded and cheered after viewing the teaser.
Vikrant expressed, ‘Shanaya, I understand you are deeply touched, but I am immensely proud of you. It has been a joy to collaborate with you, and I look forward to more opportunities to work together,’ which brought a smile to the actress’s face.
For those unfamiliar with the situation, Shanaya was poised to make her Bollywood debut in Karan Johar’s Bedhadak, alongside Lakshya and Gurfateh Pirzada. However, following a significant announcement in 2022, the project was ultimately shelved. Subsequently, Maheep disclosed that her daughter experienced considerable distress due to the film’s cancellation. Reports later circulated suggesting that Shanaya would instead debut in the Malayalam film Vrushabha, starring opposite the renowned Mohanlal, but this too faced several months of delays.
She is now finally prepared to make her screen debut in Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, and in addition, she has Aanand L Rai’s Tu Yaa Main featuring Adarsh Gourav in her upcoming projects.
