As per Wikipedia, the Hindi-language action thriller is reportedly made on a staggering budget of ₹200 crore, making it one of the most expensive Indian films of all time. Out of this, ₹20 crore has been allocated for promotional activities alone, showcasing the grand scale of the project. The estimated runtime of the film is said to be 135 minutes ensuring an action-packed cinematic experience!
‘Sikandar’ Cast Salary Breakdown
Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, this film marks his collaboration with Salman Khan after 11 years since their hit film Kick. Featuring an ensemble cast – the film stars Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, Prateik Babbar, Sathyaraj and more.
As per the reports in IndiaTimes, Salman Khan is reportedly charging a giant amount of ₹120 crore for his role, making him the highest-paid actor in the film by a significant margin. In comparison his leading lady Rashmika Mandanna, despite being one of the most sought-after actresses today is said to be receiving ₹5 crore.
Veteran actress Kajal Aggarwal, who plays a crucial role, has been paid ₹3 crore. Meanwhile, Bollywood’s beloved actor Sharman Joshi is earning ₹75 lakh, Prateik Babbar is receiving ₹60 lakh and Sathyaraj famous for his portrayal of Katappa in all-time iconic Baahubali franchise has been paid ₹50 lakh for his role.
A.R. Murugadoss, the acclaimed filmmaker known for blockbusters like Ghajini has reportedly charged ₹20 crore for directing the film. The music for Sikandar is composed by Pritam while the background score is handled by Santhosh Narayanan. Cinematography is helmed by Tirru and Vivek Harshan is in charge of editing.
