After Vijay Deverakonda’s successful entry into the film industry, his brother also ventured into films later in 2019. But his brother Anand Deverakonda didn’t get the popularity Vijay got. He is a pan-India sensation. And thus, both of them often get compared with each other by audiences. Recently, in a promotional event of Anand’s upcoming film ‘Gam Gam Ganesha’ he was asked about whether he is trying to get his brother Vijay’s voice and diction on purpose, as they both have very similar voices.
As HT reported, Anand clarified about this and even Vijay contributed virtually. Anand said that nothing is on purpose as he naturally has that voice. Then the two brothers jammed up with each other, reflecting on how they used to prank people with their same voices. Geetha Govindam actor said, “The day our mother couldn’t differentiate who was calling out for her was when we realised we had similar voices. We later used it to our advantage and would prank our girlfriends and friends. Anand would often pretend to be me while talking to others. We thought getting him to dub for some scenes in one of my films would be a great idea.” Anand revealed that he dubbed for Vijay’s one of the films but kept it unnamed.
Vijay and Anand shared a really great bond with each other. Anand always appears on Vijay’s Instagram posts many times. Vijay, being a family man, posts his cute little family on his feed on each special occasion.
On the professional front, Vijay was last seen in ‘The Family Star’ along with Mrunal Thakur. He announced two films on his birthday, one is ‘The Legend Of The Cursed Land’ and another one is an untitled film with Sri Venkateswara Creation. Anand did a romantic drama ‘Baby’ last year and is now quite busy in his upcoming venture ‘Gam Gam Ganesha’.
