TilluSquareBoxOffice: Directed by Mallik Ram the highly anticipated sequel, Tillu Square, following Siddu Jonnalagadda’s DJ Tillu, was finally released in the theatres on March 29. After its theatrical release, the Telugu film opened up to “positive reviews” from the public and took a flying start at the box office beating Bollywood film, “Crew” and Malayalam film, “Aadujeevitham”. Reportedly, the film has now crossed the 30cr mark domestically and the 40cr mark globally at the box office.

Tillu Square Box Office Collection Day 3
As per Sacnilk.com, the Telugu comedy-romance, Tillu Square earned a whopping, ₹ 11.2 Cr on its opening day (first day) at the box office. Tillu Square’s opening day collection was surprisingly higher than the first-day collection of the recently released Malayalam film, “Aadujeevitham: The Goat Life” and the Bollywood film, “Crew”.
The Telugu film witnessed further growth during the weekend (Saturday-Sunday). Tillu Square earned around ₹ 10.25 Cr on Saturday and approx. ₹ 11.00 Cr on Sunday. Reportedly, the film now stands at a domestic total of approx. ₹ 32.45 Cr. Meanwhile, the film has crossed the 40cr mark globally. As per the reports, Tillu Square’s worldwide box office collection stands at a total of ₹ 45.3 Cr.

Talking about the film, Tillu Square serves as the follow-up to the 2022 movie “DJ Tillu”, with Siddu Jonnalagadda returning to his role, alongside other actors such as Muralidhar Goud, and Praneeth Reddy Kallem, reprising their respective roles from the original film.
Meanwhile, Anupama Parameswaran takes on the female lead. The storyline of Tillu Square tracks Tillu’s life as it takes an unexpected turn following a perplexing murder. Written by Siddu Jonnalagadda, Tillu Square is directed by Mallik Ram. The Telugu film, Tillu Square was released in theatres on 29 March 2024.
