Trivikram Srinivas’ much-awaited and highly anticipated upcoming Telugu action drama film, Guntur Kaaram starring Mahesh Babu was finally released in theatres on 12th January 2024. And despite receiving mixed reviews from critics and viewers, the film has registered a bumper opening at the box office beating several recent South films.

Guntur Kaaram was released on 12th January, and despite receiving an underwhelming response from the netizens and critics the action-drama still managed to secure a bumper opening at the box office. As per Sacnilk.com, Mahesh Babu starrer Guntur Kaaram secured a domestic box office opening worth a massive ₹ 42.00 Cr and a worldwide opening worth ₹82.08 crores.
With its huge box office opening, Trivikram Srinivas’s film has managed to beat Dhanush starrer Captain Miller, Katrina Kaif starrer Merry Christmas, and Teja Sajja starrer Hanuman which were released on the same day alongside Guntur Kaaram.
On the other hand, the film is expected to further growth during the upcoming weekend. If all goes well, then the Telugu action drama, Guntur Kaaram can easily cross the 100cr mark through its first weekend at the box office. Meanwhile, the global box office collection figures are still awaited.
