The first song from the much-awaited film ‘Liger’ is out today. Telugu superstar Vijay Deverakonda and Bollywood’s young diva Ananya Panday set the Internet on fire. The film’s first song is titled ‘Akdi Pakdi’ and it has the right amount of peppy vibes to kill our Monday blues. Vijay Devarakonda’s smooth dance moves sweep away our hearts while Ananya looks cute and desirable as she pairs up with handsome Vijay.
The song is composed by Lijo George, DJ Chetas and Sunil Kashyap, while Dev Negi, Pawni Pandey and Lijo George have given their voice to this song.

‘Liger’ is an upcoming sports drama film written, directed and produced by Puri Jagannadh. The film stars Vijay Devarakonda and Ananya Panday in the lead roles. It has been shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu. It will also be dubbed in Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam. The film is backed by Hindi film producer Karan Johar. It will mark Vijay Deverakonda’s debut in Hindi cinema and Ananya Panday’s debut in Telugu cinema. It also stars Ramya Krishna and Ronit Roy. Boxer Mike Tyson will be seen making a cameo appearance in the film.
This film was announced in 2019 and the shooting had also begun. However, it suffered a major halt due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Liger is scheduled for theatrical release on 25 August 2022. The satellite rights of the film have been bagged by Star Network, while OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar has the digital rights of the film.
