Rathnam Box Office Verdict: Vishal Starrer “Hit Or Flop”?

Following its release “Rathnam” garnered a range of reviews from critics, spanning from mixed to positive, and elicited a similarly varied response from audiences. Subsequently, the film registered a decent opening at the box office. Now that the film has finished its first week in theaters, it’s time to determine whether the film is a box office success or failure.

As per Sacnilk, the Tamil film, Rathnam registered a decent opening earning approx. ₹ 2.45 Cr on its first day. Keeping steady the film earned ₹ 2.15 Cr on Saturday and ₹ 2.3 Cr. However, after a steady weekend, the film witnessed a slight drop during the weekdays starting from Monday.

Keeping steady the Tamil film earned ₹ 1.5 Cr on Monday, ₹ 1.55 Cr on Tuesday, ₹ 1.83 Cr on Wednesday, and ₹ 1.1 Cr on Thursday. Starring Vishal the Tamil action-thriller, Rathnam now stands at a domestic total of approx. ₹ 12.88 Cr.

Rathnam Hit Or Flop?

The Tamil film “Rathnam” opened decently, earning around ₹2.45 Cr on its first day. However, it witnessed a slight drop during the weekdays, with earnings ranging from ₹1.1 Cr to ₹1.83 Cr. Starring Vishal, the film has a domestic total of approximately ₹12.88 Cr. Given its performance, “Rathnam” can be considered an “average” performer, falling short of being a hit but avoiding the flop category.
