JailerBoxOfficeCollection: Nelson Dilipkumar’s directorial, “Jailer” is currently one of the biggest opening Tamil films. Starring Rajinikanth the film was released in theatres on 10th August and opened up to extremely positive reviews from the audience. As per the latest reports, the film has now crossed the 450cr mark with its global box office collection and is now inching towards 500cr mark.

Rajinikanth starrer Jailer had a blockbuster opening at the box office, earning around 72cr worldwide. The film crossed the 300cr mark globally through its first weekend, and later crossed the 400cr mark on the Independence Day. Meanwhile, as per the latest reports the film has now crossed the 200cr mark domestically and Rs 450 crore mark globally.
As per the industry tracker Sacnilk, the film earned approx. 36.5 Cr on Independence Day and 15cr on Wednesday. The film currently stands on a domestic total of 225cr. While the film has crossed the 450cr mark with its worldwide box office collection and is now inching closer to the 500cr mark.
The film has become one of the highest opening films in the Tamil film industry followed by films like Beast. Jailer is also the 4th Tamil movie to enter the 300cr club.

Jailer is a Tamil action-comedy film directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Kalanithi Maran. The film will feature South superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role. Apart from him the film will also feature Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff, Shivarajkumar, Ramya Krishnan, Vinayakan and Mirnaa Menon.
