Rashmika Mandanna is all set to enter a new territory with her upcoming film Mysaa, directed by Ravindra Pulle and produced by UnFormula Films, and the makers have now finally locked in its release date. The much-awaited action thriller is scheduled to arrive in cinemas worldwide on November 27, 2026. The film features music by composer Jakes Bejoy. Post-production and VFX work are currently underway.
There has been a lot of hype around Mysaa ever since the announcement of the film, primarily due to Rashmika’s strong and bold role. The actress is going to be seen in a tough avatar, quite different from some of her previous roles. Touted as an emotional, action-packed drama set against tribal backdrops.
Mysaa has also generated curiosity around Rashmika Mandanna ‘s physical preparation and high-octane action schedules. The release announcement comes following Mandanna’s recent updates about her return to regular work schedules after recovering from a hip injury.
The actor also explained that one of the tendons in her right hip had detached and needed time to heal. She suffered the injury while shooting a dance sequence for Mysaa, which she described as one of the most physically demanding films she has worked on.
Her Instagram Post says, “Hie guyssss! Injuries suck… and I was really hoping that no one would get to know. But well. Sorry I’ve been MIA, but hieeee! I’m hereeee! It happened a while ago, ya, and this is my 3rd injury back-to-back. I should definitely learn to treat my body like a human body and not some machine,” she had written.
A few days ago, Rashmika also shared pictures from her time away from work and said that she would soon return to shooting. “I am getting back to work soon, and I am definitely going to miss all of this,” She wrote.
Injuries, setbacks, back-to-back battles off-screen — nothing seems to be slowing Rashmika down. If her resilience behind the scenes is anything to go by, Mysaa isn’t just releasing on November 27; it’s arriving ready to conquer. Obstacles or not, all signs point to one thing: Mysaa is set to rule not just Indian theatres, but screens worldwide.
