Indian telvision actress Rashami Desai is a notable name in the industry. From doing popular TV shows like Uttaran, Dil Se Dil Tak, and Bigg Boss S13, she has also left her mark on the Bhojpuri cinemas. As she gears up with her next Gujarati series, she recently made a big revelation in the media. The TV actress disclosed that Dabangg 2’s item number ‘Fevicol Se’ was offered to her before Kareena finally made it. Rashami however had to reject the offer and finally the song was shot between Kareena Kapoor and Salman Khan.
Salman Khan Initially Offered Fevicol Se To Rashami Desai
In a latest conversation to a media outlet, Rashami Desai recalled her experience of working with Salman Khan for an ad. Shooting the short detergent ad was very delightful for the actress. She then mentioned, “I never say all these things, so I am very hesitant to speak about this, but yes, after that ad, a song from Salman Khan and his team was also offered to me, which was later done by Kareena Kapoor ma’am.” Initially she did not name the song or the film, but gradually as the interviewer tried to seek details if it was the famous item number “Fevicol Se” from Dabangg 2, Rashami Desai affirmed to it. She revealed that she had to eventually reject the offer because she was under a signed contract with Colors TV.
She said that it was a big thing for her back then, that somebody recalled her name, for this song, but it might be her hard luck that she failed to do that project. “I could not do it then, but I would love to do it now, if given an opportunity”, Rashami added further. When asked that why is she so humbly avoiding to speak about it in the public, she said “When you take such a big, influential personality’s name in public, people might say that I am dragging the topic and am bringing the past topics intentionally in the limelight. So I don’t really want any such negativity around me, or for me being spread outside.”
She also praised superstar Salman Khan, and called him the most humble person. Recalling an incident where Rashami’s acquaintance needed big help for liver transplant, Salman via his NGO ‘Being Human’ turned out to be her biggest help, for which she will forever be grateful.
