Ranveer Singh’s n*de photoshoot has indeed gained a lot of attention, as soon after his photoshoot went viral the actor landed into trouble. Recently, it was reported that the actor will be summoned before the Mumbai police for investigation on 22 August, while as per the latest reports it is now revealed that the actor has sought two weeks to appear before the cops.
Ranveer Singh Seeks Time To Appear Before Mumbai Police
As per ANI reports, on Friday, 12 August, the Chembur police went to Ranveer Singh’s residence to serve him the notice, however, the actor wasn’t at home. The reports further stated that the actor has reportedly been summoned to appear before the Mumbai police to record his statement about his n*de photo shoot on August 22. Meanwhile, as per the latest report of ANI, it is reported that the actor has now sought two weeks’ time to appear before the Mumbai Police.
“Nude photoshoot controversy | Chembur police station had summoned actor Ranveer Singh asking him to appear tomorrow. The actor has sought 2 weeks time to appear, now fresh summons will be sent by Chembur police after fixing a new date: Mumbai Police,” ANI tweeted on Sunday.
About Ranveer Singh’s N*de Photoshoot Case
Apparently, the reports and the case has been registered by a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) at the Chembur police station in the east Mumbai suburb. The complainant stated the actor has hurt the sentiments of women and insulted their modesty through his photographs. A source revealed to ANI, “We received an application from a person associated with an NGO on Monday. No FIR is registered so far. We are enquiring,”.
Last month, the actor posted a series of pictures from his nude photoshoot on Instagram. His comment section is flooded with appreciation from his celebrity friends in the industry. However, the actor got brutally trolled for his photoshoot.
Many Bollywood celebs supported Ranveer, including Arjun Kapoor, and Janhvi Kapoor among many others. Ranveer’s Gully Boy co-star Alia Bhatt also supported the actor and said, “I don’t like anything negative being said about my favorite Ranveer Singh so I can’t tolerate this question.” She further added, “I love him and he is eternally favorite to all of us. He has given so much to the movies so we should only give him love.”

On the work front, Ranveer was recently seen in the Ranveer vs Wild with Bear Grylls. He will be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus with Jacqueline Fernandes and Pooja Hegde. He also has Karan Johar’s ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ with Alia Bhatt.
