Popular for her past controversies, and an ex-contestant of the reality TV Show Bigg Boss, Rakhi Sawant has come out in defence of the youtuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahabadia. Ranveer aka ‘BEERBICEPS’ has gained massive backlash after one of his vulgar remark on the youtube show ‘India’s Got Latent’ came into the spotlight. Amid the ongoing controversy surrounding Ranveer’s indecent remarks on India’s Got Latent, the actress reacted to Ranveer’s public apology and urged people to forgive him.
Rakhi Sawant Comes In Ranveer’s Support
Commenting on the controversy, Rakhi penned down on one of the social media posts, “Forgive him yaar. It’s okay, it happens sometimes. Forgive him.🙌 I know he did wrong, but forgive him.” In case you don’t know, Rakhi Sawant herself was one of the judges in the panel, in the last streamed episode. She was called as a guest and was seen sharing the space with comedian Samay Raina, Akash Solanki, Maheep Singh and Balraj.
Rakhi’s comment comes a day after an F.I.R was lodged against Ranveer Allahabadia for his awful “watch your parents having sex” remark. Actions are yet to be taken, however a complaint was submitted in the Bombay High Court, as people seemed disappointed post his viral comment. Following Ranveer, influencer Apoorva Makheja aka, “the rebel kid”, and Samay Raina have also been sued for the same. Several ministers and members of different community groups have asked to take down the video.
Ranveer Allahabadia Issues An Apology
Later in the afternoon, Ranveer Allahabadia had issued an apology via a video, where he accepted his mistake and added no justifications to it. He said, “Comedy is not my forte. I accept that I did wrong”. However, the criticism rose to such a peak, that fans were not happy even after the apology and were outraged by the “filthy” comments made in the show by everyone.
Amid this all, Rakhi Sawant’s support towards the pocaster seems unique. She might have to face the consequences by the audience as they might begin to sever backlash for her defending Ranveer’s distasteful comment, made in the public.
For those unversed, Ranveer recently appeared as a guest on the latest episode of India’s Got Latent along with social media influencers Apoorva Makhija and Ashish Chanchlani. While interacting with one of the contestants, Ranveer asked, “Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once and stop it forever.” The other panelists laughed out loud soon after Ranveer asked the crass question.
