RaayanBoxOffice: Directed by Dhanush, the much-anticipated Tamil action-thriller Raayan debuted in theaters on July 26. Featuring Dhanush, S.J. Suryah, and a skilled ensemble cast, the film has garnered positive reviews and enjoyed a strong box office start. In its first week, Raayan has already surpassed the 50 crore mark.

As per Sacnilk, after registering a double-digit opening worth ₹ 13.65 Cr, Dhanush starrer Tamil film, Raayan witnessed decent growth through the weekend. However, after the impressive performance during the weekend, the film witnessed a huge fall on Monday.
Despite seeing a fall, Tamil film Raayan maintained a steady pace at the box office throughout the week earning ₹ 5.8 Cr on Monday, ₹ 4.55 Cr on Tuesday, and ₹ 4.00 Cr on Wednesday. Dhanush’s film Raayan now stands at a domestic box office total of ₹ 53.00 Cr.
Raayan Plot
Raayan (Dhanush), the eldest of four siblings, takes care of his brothers and sister after their parents disappear. In their Tamil Nadu town, gangsters Sekar (SJ Suryah) and Saravanan maintain a fragile peace. When a new police commissioner (Prakash Raj) arrives, he disrupts this balance, exposing the gangs’ secrets. Raayan, who runs a small food stall, gets dragged into the ensuing gang war after an incident shakes their happy life. The story follows Raayan’s struggle in this dangerous conflict.
