Veteran actor Govinda has recalled one of his most controversial moments that led him into a legal trouble. The actor turned politician once slapped a fan in fit of rage, during the shooting of his film, ‘Money Hai To Honey Hai’. While what could have been expected as a mistake to be forgotten as the day passes by, took 8-9 long years to completely get off Govinda’s list. Govinda landed into a legal trouble after the slap incident as the victimised fan got to the court, demanding an apology from the actor. Recently in a podcast, Govinda shared that there was not a single support from anyone around him, when the incident took place.
Govinda in a chit-chat interview with Shaktimaan fame Mukesh Khanna said, “I submitted proofs against the victim named Santosh in the court. However, the women were saying me that he is a good person, please don’t do anything wrong to him.” As the actor quoted, “I was so thankful to God. Maine Dekhliya ki Nobody supported me. Ek thappad Ke Case mei kisi ka support nahi hai… Toh Jo humare wajah se khade hain wo hamare piche khade hai”. Govinda highlighted that issues like these are the reasons which sometimes lowers the confidence, and makes one fele underconfident.
