Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco , the couple who are currently basking the success of their collaborative album ‘I Said I Love You First’ , have been in the spotlight since they confirmed their engagement in December 2024. Fans eagerly anticipated their wedding but the couple has made it clear they are not in a hurry to walk down the aisle. In a recent conversation with Jay Shetty’s On Purpose podcast, Selena revealed that wedding preparations haven’t started yet.
The Back To You singer said, “We have not even begun because I think right now, there’s just so much going on. I have to go and film my series for a while, and I don’t know. We’ll just see what happens. We are not in any rush. I’m excited to see what happens.”
Further Benny Blanco echoed her thoughts emphasizing that they are enjoying the moment rather than rushing into wedding plans. “I don’t even care what’s next (laughs). We have been doing so much stuff. We haven’t gotten to just bask in the glory. I think we are looking for to doing that in New York a little bit.”
While the couple’s wedding plans are on hold, the couple has discussed how they would approach their big day when the time comes. Selena said, “He is good at organizing, and I am very visual, and then he figures it out.” And he added, “She has already told me the types and the things she likes and wants for the wedding.”
