Wednesday, December 18 brought in a major backlash for American singer Nick Jonas as he uploaded a tweet endorsing Elon Musk. The global entrepreneur, was seen on Nick’s feed with a one line caption which immediately caught everybody’s attention on the social media.

Nick Jonas shared a photo of Musk with a caption that read, “Take us to the Year 3000.” The post was a reply to the Tesla owner, Elon Musk who posted an old GIF of the Jonas Brothers rotating a coffee table. In the caption, he wrote that the “tables had turned” in response to a different story about how Tesla was allegedly “up 100% since Donald Trump won!” Seeing this post, netizens have majorly reacted with negative comments flooding his feed. Many called out Priyanka Chopra to take control of her man, as they felt disappointed to find him endorsing Musk.

As soon as Nick Jonas post reached out to a bunch of his fans, a user commented, “delete this. now. this man is horrible and even if this was meant as just a joke, it’s not funny.” Another comment read, “you’re disgusting“. Expressing disgrace and shock on the same, a third individual commented, “tweeting at elon musk is definitely a choice”, while a different user said, “Nick, your fans don’t appear to be too happy. What now?“

This backlash didn’t end here, as fans dragged in wife Priyanka Chopra too, in their comments. With the intention to reach out to the global actress, a fan commented, “Priyanka get your man under control PLEASE.” Another individual reacted saying “Priyanka please take the phone from this man before its too late.” This backlash on Nick’s X account signifies immense hate towards the Tesla owner. Jonas has not reacted to any of the hate comments and seems to be keeping silent ever since he drew the online controversy.
