In an exclusive conversation on Raw Talks with VK Podcast, Naga Chaitanya shared his thoughts on the continuous trolling he has faced regarding his divorce. Speaking openly, he stated, “I’ve moved on with so much grace. She has moved on with so much grace. We are leading our own lives.” Addressing the negative remarks about his personal choices, he questioned why people continue to target him, saying, “It’s not like it’s only happening in my life, so why am I treated like a criminal?” His statement seemed to reflect his frustration over the never-ending scrutiny he faces.
Defending Wife Sobhita Dhulipala
Naga Chaitanya also expressed his disappointment over the backlash Sobhita receives on social media. Trolls frequently target her under various posts, blaming her for his past. In response he defended her saying, “I feel very bad for her (Sobhita). She doesn’t deserve it. She is not at fault in this matter.”
He also revealed how their relationship started in a completely natural manner, “She came into my life… we met in a very organic way, beautiful way. Just like social media chat on Instagram, our friendship started, and our relationship was slowly built from there.” His words emphasized that their bond developed gradually without any external factors.

Praising Sobhita for Her Strength
Apart from addressing the trolls, Chaitanya praised Sobhita for standing by his side despite the negativity. He acknowledged her patience and maturity in handling the criticism stating, “She has not been connected to my past in any way at all… I feel very bad for her but at the same time, I have to thank her very much. She’s very understanding and patient. With so much maturity, she navigated through all this. She is, in fact, a true hero for me in so many ways. To face this is not easy.”
Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu ended their marriage in 2021 after being together since 2017. Now, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita have embarked on a new journey together after tying the knot on December 4, 2024. Despite the challenges, they continue to move forward as a happy couple.
