Munawar Faruqui Breaks Silence On Being Called ‘Fixed Winner’ Of Bigg Boss 17

On 28th January, Lockupp winner and standup comedian, Munawar Faruqui beat Abhishek Kumar to win the reality television show, Bigg Boss 17. Munawar lifted the trophy of the 17th season and as per the reports, the standup comedian has won the show by a significantly bigger margin than the rest of the contestants.

However, previously before the grand finale many reports surfaced and claimed that Munawar had already been decided as the winner of Bigg Boss 17 by the makers of the show. Bigg Boss 17 contestant Anurag Dobhal also revealed that Munawar Faruqui was the fixed winner of the show.

In a video shared by TellyChakkar, VJ Andy also claimed that according to some of his sources, Munawar has already been decided as the winner of Bigg Boss 17. Andy claimed that Munawar was already told that he would win the show when he participated.

Apart from this many social media handles also claimed that Munawar Faruqui will be winning the 17th season of Bigg Boss 17. Twitter handle Khabri wrote, “Inside sources have confirmed that #MunawarFaruqui is lifting #BiggBoss17 Trophy on 28th January.”, “Congratulations to #MunawarFaruqui in advance for winning #BiggBoss17”.

Reacting to all the claims of him being the “fixed winner” of the show Munawar Faruqui told India Today, “Main nahi janta (I don’t know). I always thought I had a 50-50 chance as Abhishek equally deserved this win. This tag only sounds very fixed”.

For the unversed, Munawar Faruqui managed to beat Abhishek Kumar, Mannara Chopra, Ankita Lokhande, and Arun Mashettey in the Grand Finale to become the winner of Bigg Boss season 17.
