Who Is Sunil Kumar?
Originally hails from Jammu, Sunil Kumar is a 7ft. 7 inch tall constable who works for the J&K police. Born in December 1990, Kumar is termed as “The Great Khali of Jammu”, and is originally five inches taller than the OG Khali wrestler.
The OG Sarkata also loves wrestling, enjoys playing handball and volleyball. Sunil aims to atleast play for once for his country India, for wrestling on a national level.
Amar Kaushik On Casting Sunil Kumar
In a recent discussion with Bollywood Hungama, director Amar Kaushik informed that for the role of Sarkata in STREE 2, they needed someone with the best physique. Not only a person who is huge but also someone who can come out strongly to the audience even without much dialogue delivery. And when they found Kumar, they saw him as the best fit for the role.
The director informed, the body and the physique that Kumar carried had a big impact as they used his huge body to show Sarkata’s body and took the help of CGI for Sarkata’s facial shots. Kaushik further clears there were mostly instances and shots that were picturised using CGI but to show the natural heavy,tall antagonist named as Sarkata for the movie, choosing someone like him was mandatory.
