Mai Agar Politics Mei Gayi To Mujhe Goli Maar Denge: Raveena Tandon On Joining Politics

Raveena said that 'honesty is not a good policy' in the current generation and which is why her virtues would not align to how politics work

Raveena Tandon, one of the most infliuential Bollywood actress of the film industry is known for her intrusive charm. Her effective personality, and impressive theatricality has always gained her a lot of love by her fans and followers over the past years. Though her powerful acting, and impressive styling has made her a Bollywood icon till the present date, the actress holds a completely different feeling when it comes to politics. Raveena Tandon, in an exclusive interview with Lehren Retro opens up on her thoughts about joining politics. She feels she will be immediately killed by people on the day she joins politics.

On being asked if she would like to be a part of politics, besides being an actress – Raveena said that, “Jisdin mai politics mei gayi, us din koi mujhe goli maar dega, kyuki mai sach ko jhuth mei nahi badal sakti. Mere liye mushkil ho jata hai agar mujhe koi cheez nahi pasand ho toh ek dum se mere shakal pe aajata hai, mai uske baare me ladne lagti hu” Adding further Raveena said that ‘honesty is not a good policy’ in the current generation and which is why her virtues would not align to how politics work. She ends her stance by stating, “Whenever somebody asks me if I will join politics I tell them that I will be assasinated so soon after that”.
