Recently, something similar happened with Aditya Roy Kapur as he step out to the city for the screening of his upcoming ‘The Night Manager’. Aditya has a sizable female fan base thanks to his attractiveness, skill as an actor, and reserved demeanor. The actor had to go through a horrific experience, which he managed calmly.
Aditya met his admirers with a smile on his face and felt compelled to take selfies with them during the screening of his future production. However, things took a turn for the worse when an older woman approached him too closely to take selfies. She held him by the waist and then grabbed his neck and shoulder in preparation for a kiss. Aditya, being the gentleman that he is, laughed at her attempts. When he began making fun of her antiques, the fan beseeched him for a kiss once more.
This is not getting down well with netizens and started trolling that woman. One user wrote, Imagine a man doing this to an actress. He would have been booked by now for molest@tion, and feminists would have gone crazy…” Another user wrote, “The way she is grabbing his neck …..Thank god she is shorter than him.” One user wrote, “This is too much, what is wrong with women why so damn crazy.”
Aditya has been in the news for a while now due to relationship rumors involving actress Ananya Panday. Although they haven’t made an official about it, their supporters already have enough reason to believe it given their growing affection and closeness.
On the work front, he is making his OTT debut with the upcoming web series The Night Manager opposite Shobita Dhulipala and Anil Kapoor.
