In a candid revelation at the India Today Conclave, actor and social media influencer Kusha Kapila shared her experience of online bullying following her announcement of her separation from husband Zorawar Ahluwalia earlier this year. The couple had announced their divorce in June, and Kusha didn’t hold back when discussing the challenges she faced.
Kusha Kapila revealed, “I actually allot a certain time of the day to crying and feeling bad about it.” She further added, “I give it exactly half an hour, and then I move on with my life. There’s so much to do.”
The influencer admitted that she felt pressured into sharing her personal news. “I was honestly bullied into sharing my personal news. This is the first time I’m sharing that,” she said. “But I’m glad I shared it on my own terms. I did not want anyone else sharing information about my life with the world, without consulting with me first. You have to put on blinders.”
Kusha and Zorawar’s love story began when they met at a friend’s wedding. After dating for a while, they tied the knot in 2017. However, their journey took an unexpected turn with their divorce announcement earlier this year.
In a recent film, “Thank You For Coming,” Kusha Kapila shared the screen with notable names like Bhumi Pednekar, Dolly Singh, Shehnaaz Gill, Shibani Bedi, and Karan Kundrra. The movie, which had its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2023, was released in theatres this week.
Prior to this, Kusha was seen in Shilpa Shetty’s film, “Sukhee”.
