Starring Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan, and others, the film managed to receive positive reviews from the public. However despite the initial positive reception, the comedy-drama “failed” to secure a promising box office opening. Currently, the film is lagging in competition with Stree 2 and Vedaa, with this “Khel Khel Mein” marks yet another underwhelming opener for Akshay Kumar.

As per Sacnilk, Akshay Kumar starrer comedy-drama, “Khel Khel Mein” registered a box office opening worth ₹ 5.05 Cr. For those unaware the film faced a direct clash with Shraddha Kapoor’s “Stree 2” and John Abraham’s “Vedaa”. Unfortunately, Akshay’s film is trailing behind both the films.

However, the film is anticipated to pick up momentum in the coming days, particularly over the weekend. If things go as planned, it could surpass the 10 crore mark by the weekend’s end.
