Kendrick Lamar unexpectedly released his sixth studio album “GNX” on Friday. He shared a teaser for the album on Friday afternoon and published the project on streaming services. This album will be featuring 12 new tracks, titled as, ‘Squabble Up’, ’Luther’, ‘Wacced Out Murals’, ‘Man At The Garden’ and more.
The album follows Lamar’s 2022 album “Mr. Morale And The Big Steppers.” As soon as the teaser went out, fans were delighted to see the lyrics shown in the video.
This album will conclude an incredible year for Lamar, following his feud with fellow rapper Drake. After Lamar and Drake exchanged diss tracks for months, Lamar emerged victorious with his smash hit “Not Like Us,” which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was also nominated for multiple Grammys.
After innumerable rumors that swirled on the internet, fans had expected to see Taylor Swift appearing in the album teaser, and seeing her as a part of the 12 tracks. However, there was no information about the American singer-songwriter joining Kendrick for this album. Fans await her joining despite not seeing her in the teaser released on Friday. Users on X poured in comments sensing that either Kendrick would release a couple of albums more before the year ends. Others, however, think another surprise release with said alleged duet could still be in the works.
