Jawan marks Nayanthara’s Bollywood debut. Several reports state that Deepika Padukone will also have a cameo.
Directed by Atlee and produced by SRK’s production house, Red Chillies Entertainment, it also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, and Sunil Grover in key roles. Recently, the makers again announced the new release date. Originally scheduled for release on June 3, 2023, the movie will instead hit theatres on September 7, 2023.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh’s other film is this year’s Dunki with Rajkumar Hirani, which is scheduled to release on December 22, 2023.
