The public spat between leading star Sonakshi Sinha, and veteran actor Mukesh Khanna seems to come to an end, as the latter has finally acknowledged the entire incident, issuing an apology online. Mukesh Khanna, was slammed by Sonakshi for his ruthless remarks on her upbringing. She criticized him publicly by calling out his missing values and moral grounds, after which the Shaktimaan actor has finally broken his silence to react on the same. Khanna spoke back in his defense, and thereafter apologised to have talked about it in not one but many interviews.
After Sonakshi bursted out on Khanna, via her instagram story, Mukesh Khanna too shared a long note, wherein he addressed the entire matter. He wrote, “Dear Sonakshi, I am surprised you took so much time to react. I knew I was antagonising you by taking your name from that incident in the famous Karodpati show. But I had no malicious intention to malign your or your father who is my senior and I have a very cordial relationship with him…” Khanna further clarified that he intended to react to the younger generation’s dependency on internet and mobile phones, and that he was just using Sonakshi’s case to teach others as it was one hi-fi case right infront of him.

Mukesh Khanna added, “I regret that I talked about it in more than one interviews of mine. Point noted. It will not be repeated. Be assured.” The story came after a huge controversy had sparked online with netizens and obvious Sonakshi fan slammed Khanna for his distasteful remark on her knowledge and upbringing.
What Is The Sonakshi Sinha x Mukesh Khanna Controversy About?
For the unversed, it all began when Mukesh Khanna, in a recent interview took a dig at the Dabangg actress for failing to answer a question at the Kaun Banega Crorepati show. The question revolved around the epic tale of RAMAYANA, and while she was questioned about the same, Sonakshi was seen juggling with the correct option.
This happened back in 2019, and Khanna had already addressed this incident in one of his old interviews. Now that the actor againa brought the issue up, Sonakshi out of infuriation came up to shut the irrelevant chatter and directly confronted the veteran star via social media. Above all this, an old interview of Shatrughan Sinha with Bollywood Hungama was also going viral, that showed Shatrughan defending his daughter Sonakshi when Mukesh Khanna bashed her for the first time after the reality show’s footage went live.
