Lucky Ali, known for his soulful voice behind classic romantic hits like “O Sanam” and “Kyon Chalti Hai Pawan,” continues to enchant audiences across generations. While his music keeps him in the spotlight, the 66-year-old prefers a life away from the glitz and glamour of showbiz. At the 18th Kathakar International Storyteller Festival, held on February 1, the singer offered a rare glimpse into his personal life, hinting at the possibility of his fourth marriage.
At Kathakar 2025, Ali entertained the audience by performing some of his iconic songs and sharing intriguing anecdotes from his personal life. During a discussion, when someone inquired about his next aspiration, the singer replied, “Dream hai ki main shaadi karunga phir se”. This revelation left many wondering if Ali’s fourth marriage might be on the horizon.
Lucky Ali’s personal life is as fascinating as his journey in the music industry. According to reports, he married Australian woman Meghan Jane McCleary in 1996 after they met during the making of his album “Sunoh.” They had two children, Ta’awwuz and Tasmiyah, but the couple divorced a few years later. In 2000, the “Ek Pal Ka Jeena” singer married Anahita, a Persian woman who converted to Islam and adopted the name Inaya. They had two children together, Ryan and Sara, but their marriage also ended in divorce shortly after.
Ali’s third marriage was to former Miss England Kate Elizabeth Hallam, who is also an actress, presenter, and bass guitarist. They met during the shooting of a movie and eventually fell in love, opting for a court marriage in 2010. Despite their 25-year age gap, they welcomed a son, Dani, but decided to part ways in 2017.
