Alia Bhatt Opens Up On Her ADHD Illness
The Jigra actress revealed in an interview with The Lallantop that she gets zoned out very frequently. Alia opened up that she got through a test and realised that she is suffering from ADHD. Attention-deficit/hyperactive disorder (ADHD) is a physchological illness where an individual either acts impulsively, rushes in decision-making or zones out completely at every intervals. The actress added that she finds herself ‘present in the moment’ only when she is on set, in her character, and recalls back the time when she used to get zoned out in classrooms and middle of the conversations.
Alia Bhatt also said that she likes to be infront of the camera because that’s when she finds herself mostly connected. “Ofcourse after Raha, whenever I am with her, I find myself present in the moment”, the lady adds further. In the interview, she also shares how she lied to choreographer Shiamak Davar about her age during her childhood.
Alia Bhatt’s film Jigra turned out to be a major chaos among the audience. Fans are not truly happy with the kind of performance Alia Bhatt served in Jigra. On the other hand, Vedang Raina who debuted with The Archies was praised for his performance. Jigra saw a clash with Triptii Dimri and Rajkumar Rao starrer Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, and was also overruled by the romantic-comedy according to the industry box-office collection.
