Bollywood star Salman Khan, has always been known for his lifelong friendships, committed promises and generosity towards his people. Over the years, people have counted him as their messiah, their mentor and what not because of his helpful tendency. Talking about the man, another veteran actress Zarina Wahab, has recently opened up on the bond she has shared with Salman Khan throughout the years.

In an exclusive interview with Lehren Retro, Zarina Wahab, wife of Aditya Pancholi spoke about the strength the Dabangg star provided to the Pancholi family when things were just not right. A decade ago, when Aditya Pancholi’s son Sooraj Pancholi was acquitted for murder charges against Jiah Khan, his then-girlfriend, Salman turned out to be the sole individual standing in all support of Sooraj. Zarina recalled back to the time when Zarina’s family and Salman with her sister Arpita arrived at one of Michael Jackson’s show in India. Zarina tells that it was an ordinary crowded day at kids function where it was too difficult to handle young kids Sana and Sooraj, for her all by herself. Then, it was Salman who came forward, held junior Pancholi and made him sit across his shoulders.
Reflecting on this memory, Zarina also expressd her gratitude that Salman gave Sooraj his first break with the film HERO, Zarina said, “After the childhood, Salman continued to carry the burdens on his shoulder at the time of Hero release”. “Bahut achha insaan hai, bahut logo ka achha kiya hai usne“, Zarina added. She also talked about the immense support Sooraj Pancholi received from Salman, while he was stuck his trials for Jiah Khan death case.
Salman Khan is a close friend to Aditya Pancholi. The two have together done many films and have always cherished their bond on-screen and off-screen. When Sooraj Pancholi was arrested under the charges of murder, Salman Khan fearlessly offered him support, and gave him his first break in 2015 with a film opposite Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya Shetty.
