After Samay Raina ‘s show India’s Got Latent controversy, there has been a disastrous change in the way youtubers, podcasters and social media influencers are handling the platform. Recently, youtuber Shwetabh Gangwar talked about the comedian Samay Raina’s mental condition after having to suffer through the legal complications. In a recent video, Shwetabh opened up on interacting with Raina after the court took charge of the matter making his situation worse. He described Raina as going through a tough time and being depressed after the same.
According to Free Press Journal, Shwetabh revealed that he got on a phone call with Samay Raina – the standup comedian, and he sounded very low. As the youtuber quoted ahead, “Bhaisahab, toota hua hai vo insaan. When the controversy had erupted, I could still see the old Samay in him, but when I spoke to him the last time, I saw a broken man…depressed, sad, scared”. Samay Raina in the meanwhile has been constantly involved in his Canada shows, after the controversy including him and Ranveer Allahabadia erupted.
Youtuber Gangwar also revealed that he too took a break from his social media because he felt helpless, stating that he could be of no use to his friend Samay during the tough time.
Supreme Court Warns Samay Raina To “Behave” Ahead Of His Canada Jokes
The comedian also cracked up a joke in one of his Canada shows,thanking the audience for paying his lawyer’s fees. This joke however, has again not sat well with the Supreme Court. The court has now issued a statement warning Raina to behave as it is not a matter of fun. Justice Surya Kant referring to the comedian said, “These youngsters are being oversmart… they think we are an outdated generation probably… one of them has gone to Canada and spoke there… they don’t know the jurisdiction which this Court enjoys and what probably can be done… We don’t want to because they are young, we understand“. What came out next was a warning for Samay as the justiced added, “Behave, or else we know how to deal with you.” in his statement.
