Gracie Abrams Is “In A State Of SHOCK” As Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Comes To An End!

Taylor Swift, the pop queen continues to be the favourite of not only fans but also for many of other famous artists, and Gracie Abrams is one of them. Recently, this 25-year-old singer shared her feelings about the emotional final show of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, held in Vancouver on December 8. Gracie, who opened for Taylor in 49 shows worldwide describe the last day as unforgettable and emotional.

During the recent interview with Nylon, the singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams expressed emotion that every Taylor fan can relate to, saying, “Everyone had been crying all day. It felt like the last day of school backstage”. She further added how “everyone was walking around with their [Eras Tour] books, signing each other’s books. We were all walking around with Sharpies”. Continuing to talk about the end of an era, she expressed, “I’m feeling emotional and grateful and in a state of shock that we don’t, as a global community, get to experience that source of light anymore”.

Adding on, the American singer-songwriter expressed how touring with Taylor Swift was more than just performing, it was a chance to learn for Gracie Abrams. She shared, “I was just soaking up every moment of her show, too. I’ve basically been studying it for a year-and-a-half”. Further talking about finding inspiration in small moments, saying, “I learned from her every time we have a conversation about the weather, even.”

Gracie do not forget to credit her time on the Eras Tour for helping her grow as an artist, showing how Taylor has been an ultimate source of inspiration for her. She joined the tour after releasing her debut album Good Riddance and saw her single ‘That’s So True’ become a hit with fans. “It’s funny to see what one song can do for engagement,” she said. “It’s crazy when you get to see that week-by-week in a stadium.”

Meanwhile, Gracie Abrams looks ahead to her own solo tour which is starting from July 2025, and she feels thankful for everything that she has gained from the Eras Tour. She plans to use all those experiences she learned from pop icon Taylor Swift to shape her future performances and career.
