Karan Johar rang into his 50s on Wednesday. Several Bollywood celebrities attended the grand bash hosted by the birthday boy at the Yash Raj Studios. Yesterday, one of Bollywood’s most successful filmmakers organized an alluring party to celebrate his 50th birthday in style. Celebrities and his friends from the fraternity showed up all decked up for the magnific event of the town. Among all was KJo’s close friend Farah Khan, who attended the midnight party on Tuesday.
After wishing Karan Johar in a quirky style she later referred the party to the Met Gala event. Farah Khan shared an Instagram post of her styled in a black suit and no doubt she looked stunning. Farah mentioned she never took so much time even to get ready for her own wedding. Below the picture, she wrote a hilarious caption, Farah wrote: “All set for the MetGala of Lokhandwala !! @karanjohar s 50th! I don’t think i took so much time to dress up at my own wedding.”
Her funny caption made netizens go crazy as one user on Instagram wrote “caption 100/100 with lot of laughing emojis” further added “Pic 100/100”. Another wrote: “Ur too hilarious… MetGala of Lokhandwala.” One user appreciating her captions wrote: “Love it…captions always on point”
The birthday boy wore a green shimmer jacket which made hearts flutter, while stars also arrived in style. Among other attendees, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Ranveer Singh, Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Varun Dhawan, Rohit Shetty, Sidharth Malhotra, Kriti Sanon, Vijay Deverakonda, Rashmika Mandanna were also present at the party. Karan’s star-studded bash was lit and a night to remember.
Production designer Amrita Mahal designed the entire birthday bash with a theme of black and bling, while the director hired chefs Marut Sikka and Harsha Kilachand for scrumptious food. Celebrating the 50th milestone in life Karan announced two major projects. The filmmaker declared the release date of his forthcoming film ‘Rocky aur Rani ki Prem Kahani’. The film starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt will release on February 10th. Another big news he made was about his next ‘Action Film’ which will commence shooting in April.
