After a controversial quit from the much popular comedy show, ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma’, Shailesh Lodhaa aka Taarak Mehta, is finally stepping into his next fictional-TV show. Streaming on Star Plus, Shailesh Lodha now joins the cast of Advocate Anjali Awasthi, as a lawyer Ramesh Patel. The TMKOC actor shared on social media the new promo of the daily soap ft. his entry. Currently, the show is ruling the TRP ratings, overruling all the serials across the TV channels, including Anupama, TMKOC, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and many more.

With a caption, “Ek Madad ka haath, Aaya Anjali ke saath…“, Shailesh shared it on his instagram. Right upon the announcement of this shared this news, he gained alot of love from the fans.
The news had fans in splits giving out mixed reactions as the actor changes his genre of work from comedy to drama. However, fans were quick to notice Taarak Mehta again sharing the screenspace with Anjali. This time its Anjali Awasthi! A user commented on the shared promo on Shailesh’s instagram, “Yaha bhi anjali 😍wah mehta sab lucky 🔥” Another comment read, “Mehta Sab ki Jindgi Me Anjli Hi aa Rahi Hai 😂” Many also funnily brought it up as they write, “Bichare Mehta Sahab 😂 Jahan bhi jaaye “ANJALI” se peecha nehi chura sakte 😂”. A user was also focused enough to see the time similarities of the two serials, i.e. @8.30pm.
Shailesh portrayed the role of Anjali Mehta’s husband in the comedy daily-soap on SAB TV. Now, he is seen in the Star plus drama-intensified series as a supportive hand to Advocate Anjali. Shailesh Lodha as Ramesh Patel will be extending his support to Anjali to fight and not give up. The actors has a good fanbase not only for his performance in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma, but also due to his poetic-self. He was earlier also seen in a show ‘Waah Waah Kya Baat Hai’ where different poetic enthusiasts gathered together and shared words of wisdom in strands of literature.
