Actor turned film critic Kamaal R Khan (KRK) took a dig at Puneet Superstar and his fans. Puneet is currently in the news for his brief stint in the reality show Bigg Boss OTT season 2. For the unaware, Prakash Kumar aka Puneet Superstar is a YouTuber and social media influencer. He has over 3.9 million followers. He was seen as a contestant in Bigg Boss OTT 2 but was evicted for his rude behavior and constant arguments with his co-housemates.
After his eviction, he expressed his frustration in a Live session. He even urged his fans to delete Jio Cinema app from their devices. It is also reported that ratings of the Jio Cinema app on the Google Play Store had a drastic fall after his eviction. #LordPuneetSuperstar trended on Twitter for a while.
Meanwhile, KRK questioned his popularity and wrote in his tweet, “Some people call this idiot, Lukkha #2RsPerson #Puneet Super star. I can’t believe that those people don’t feel ashamed to follow such a Junglee, Unpadh, Gawaar. Aaa Thoo on the face of those people, who follow him.”
Twitter is divided over KRK’s tweet. Some agree with his opinion while others have come out in Puneet’s defence. Some netizens also took a dig at KRK and his popularity.
Agreeing with KRK, a netizen commented, “I don’t understand log issy ku itni ehmiyat dy rahy hain. Badtamezi ma yeh pehly number per hai, bat karny ke tamez isko nahi. Harkatein iske theek nahi, logon ko sochna chahye k jissy wo follow kar rhy hain wo kesa hai.”
Another user replied to KRK, “First time agree with you hamare desh me aise log ki Kami nhi h sad.”
Someone trolled KRK by tweeting, “I have same feeling when i saw people who have subscribed to your YouTube channel.”
Another tweet reads, “Bhai usk hrkatein nhi uska intention dekho… Or time na mile toh apna comment section dekho.. Tb smjh ayega.. Movie ka review hi acha krte ho whi kiya kro.”
A Twitter user wrote, “Still better than your performance in deshdrohi,” while someone else said, “Bhai tujhe bhi to follow kr hi rkha logo ne.”
Puneet Superstar also slammed MC Stan who was one of the panelists on Bigg Boss. He said in a video, “Bigg Boss jaae bhaad ki bhatti mein. Saala mujhe kisi ki zaroorat nahi hai. Puneet Superstar star tha, star hai aur star rahega. Aur main ye batana chahta hu ki MC Stan tu saale keede makode, mereko aake lalkaarta hai, meri comedy ke peeche aake lalkarta hai toh mere dosto jaldi se Elo Elo app download karlo, kyuki Puneet Superstar kal shaam ko yahan par 4 baje live aane wala hai aur sabka ek ek karke band bajane wala hai. Toh tum log saale nalle, berozgaar, bhikmange ye sochte ho ki Puneet Superstar ke dwara live aakar star ban jaoge lekin Puneet Superstar star tha aur rahega.”
