Renowned Indian producer Ekta Kapoor has added yet another feather to her cap as she was bestowed with the prestigious International Directorate Award at the illustrious 51st International Emmy Awards ceremony in New York. The accolade, presented by the esteemed author Deepak Chopra, marks a monumental achievement for Kapoor, who stands tall as the first Indian woman filmmaker to be honored with this distinction.

Taking to social media, Ekta Kapoor shared her jubilation by posting a video of the award, exclaiming, “India, I’m bringing home YOUR Emmy.” Her excitement and gratitude were palpable as she expressed her heartfelt emotions following this exceptional recognition.

In a statement reflecting her elation, Kapoor remarked, “I’m delighted to receive the prestigious Emmys Directorate Award!
