Sushant Singh Rajput Row: Rhea Chakraborty Had Asked ED To Postpone Her Statement Recording Till SC Hearing

Sushant Singh Rajput's case is also being investigated by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for money laundering charges. Reports claim that Rhea Chakraborty had requested ED to postpone her statement recording until the Supreme Court hears her transfer plea, but the request has been denied. Following the sudden demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput there have many big revelations in his case. The latest update suggests that the late actor’s alleged girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty has asked the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to move their meeting until the Supreme Court hears her transfer plea. ED will be recording the Jalebi actress’s statement for money laundering charges.

A while back, Sushant Singh Rajput’s father K.K Singh lodged an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty and five others in Patna for abetment to suicide and fraud. Following the FIR, Bihar Police came into action, and to probe the money laundering charges ED came in.

Rhea was reportedly asked to appear before ED today to record her statement against the money laundering charged livid on her. However, the actress’s lawyer has informed the agency that she has requested to postpone the recording for her statement. She has asked to move the statement recording till the Supreme Court hearing.

However, the ED has denied Rhea’s request and she has just made her appearance at their office for recording her statement in the money laundering charges.

The Supreme Court is likely to hear Rhea’s petition next week, it has also asked all the parties involved to submit their replies within the coming three days. However, Rhea Chakraborty hasn’t returned to her residence in Mumbai since she left it in the middle of the night last week along with her family.

The 34-year old actor was also allegedly battling depression and was on anti-depressants for the past couple of months. Sushant’s dead body was found hanging at his residence in Bandra on June 14, 2020, and his case is currently being investigated by the Mumbai Police.
