Tripling is one of the most beloved shows delivered by TVF. When the first season came out in 2016 on YouTube and TVF App, it became an instant hit. The concept of three siblings with their own set of problems ending up on a road trip together was something that the audience had never seen before. The relatable characters and a fresh concept struck the right chords in the audience’s hearts. TVF Tripling season 2 came out in 2019 on Sony Liv and received a mixed response.
Fans are now awaiting the third season of their beloved show. Actor Kumud Mishra has spilled some interesting scoops about TVF Tripling Season 3. During an interview with Bharathi S Pradhan for Lehren, Kumud Mishra said that it is not a forced season. Hinting at the plot, he said, ‘The makers have given more attention to my character in season 3. The story focuses on the parents now. I enjoyed working on it because we have worked together in the past. We have a connection from theatre too and we are friends anyway. So, it was less of shooting and more of a party.”
Kumud Mishra plays the role of Chinmay Sharma (father of Chandan, Chanchal and Chitvan) in the series. The actor said that he is very excited about its release, stating, “the characters are very different. When we started, the characters were different and now after a time-lapse, a lot has changed in their lives. And, you’ll see those changes in the show. There’s a logical progression. it is not a forced season.”
Kumud Mishra had initially agreed to do Tripling for his friends, without thinking that it might become a huge hit. He said, “I initially did it just for my friends. Akarsh Khurana and Sumeet Vyas are my friends. And now, we just party and perform while on sets.”
The shooting of Tripling 3 has already been wrapped up and the show is currently in the post-production stage. When asked about TVF Tripling season 3’s release date, Kumud said, “Hopefully, it will be out in one or two months.”
