The Lord of the Rings: The Rings Of Power Final Trailer Offers A New Glimpse Of Characters

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will have a screening in Cinemark theatres on August 31, ahead of the September 2 debut on Amazon Prime Video.

Amazon Prime Video has recently dropped a final trailer for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power offering an extended glimpse of the characters. The upcoming highly-anticipated Lord Of The Rings prequel series is set thousands of years before the events of J.R.R. Tolkien’s books and the blockbuster movies they were adapted from. The show is slated to debut worldwide on Amazon Prime Video on September 2 and is set during the fabled Second Age of Middle-earth’s history.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power final trailer begins with a shot of Galadriel’s brother, surrounded by the enemy on the battlefield before losing his life. “My brother gave his life hunting the enemy,” Galadriel, played by Morfydd Clark, says, while she’s seen standing over his corpse, taking his dagger as a tear rolls down her cheek.

Another shot sees some young children playing outside, while Annatar a.k.a. Sauron (Anson Boon) looks over them. The trailer also offers glimpses of Isildur (Maxim Baldry) and Arondir (Ismael Cruz Cordova) as Galadriel states, ‘Each of us, everyone, must decide who we shall be.’ Halbrand is then seen behind wooden bars, telling someone, “I am not the hero you seek,’ while Galadriel tells him in another scene, ‘Whatever it is you did, be free of it.”

Another shot in the trailer shows Princess Disa a.k.a Sophia Novmete telling Prince Durin IV, ‘One day this will be your kingdom.’ The trailer then moves to Elrond (Robert Aramayo) toasting during a feast, while a hobbit character says, ‘One thing we can do better than any creature in all Middle-earth is we stay true to each other with our hearts even bigger than our feet.’

There is also a glimpse at Markella Kavenagh as Elanor ‘Nori’ Brandyfoot as Arondir says to Bronwyn (Nazanin Boniadi), ‘We can survive this, you and I.’ The trailer winds down with a number of dramatic shots as Galadriel says, ‘There is a tempest within me’ as Halbrand asks why she keeps fighting. The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will also screen episodes in Cinemark theatres on August 31, ahead of the September 2 debut on Amazon Prime Video.
