Murder Mubarak: Unrequited Love Story Of Vijay Varma & Sara Ali Khan

Murder Mubarak has brought a very fresh unseen duo of Sara Ali Khan and Vijay Varma. Actors have shared their experience of working with each other.

Muder Mubarak has gathered a huge star cast on a single screen. Director Homi Ajdania successfully placed them in a story which will be enthralling to watch. Homi has also sowed a love story in this murder mystery, which is an astounding element for the audience. The movie brought a very fresh duo to the screen, Vijay Varma and Sara Ali Khan. Talking about Sara and Vijay’s magnetism in the movie, the director said that, “Their characters have an intense backstory. They play childhood sweethearts grappling with an unrequited love story. Often, the anticipation of making or professing love is sexier than the act itself, and the characters constantly find themselves in this state.”

Sara played the character of Bambi, a rich girl, and Vijay’s character is a complete contrast. He played a human rights activist, Akash. This contrast combination has blossomed the perfect chemistry on the screen. Sara shared her experience of working with Vijay. She said, “Working with Vijay was a privilege. He is an effortless actor and brings so much spontaneity to every scene. It wasn’t difficult to have chemistry with him because of the ease that Homi sir created on set. The chemistry that people are appreciating is just us trying to do justice to what Bambi and Akash feel for each other. As soon as we heard action, we’d go from being Vijay and Sara to Akash and Bambi.”

Vijay, who shows his extraordinary yet subtle acting skills in Jaane Jaan, gave equal justice to Akash too. He emphasised their bond, saying, “On paper, it is a simmering, unspoken romance. But on set, Sara and I were always cracking jokes and goofing around. So, I never imagined that we could have sizzling chemistry. During one passionate scene, Sara was so deep into her character, she pulled me in as well and we gave a hot take. Only when two actors share a comfortable bond and let go of their inhibitions can they create passion. We finished the hot scene and went back to goofing around immediately.”

The film is out today, March 15, which also casts Dimple Kapadia, Karisma Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Sanjay Kapoor, Tisca etc..
