Sriram Raghavan’s, much-awaited and highly anticipated action thriller film, Merry Christmas starring Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif with South actor Vijay Sethupathi was released in theatres on 12th January 2024. Despite receiving positive reviews from the critics, the film received an underwhelming response in the theatres. As per the latest reports, the Bollywood action-thriller will soon hit the OTT platforms.
Merry Christmas OTT Release Date & Platform
As per Film Companion, the makers of the action-thriller, Merry Christmas has sold the rights to streaming giant, Netflix. Therefore, Merry Christmas will be making its OTT debut on the platform, Netflix, however, there’s no official confirmation about the same.
Meanwhile, talking about the OTT release date of the film is yet to be announced. The 8-week theatre window is the standard theatrical-to-digital window that typically spans around 8 weeks. This means the film will most probably be released on the OTT platform by March or April.
Merry Christmas Box Office Collection
Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi starrer Merry Christmas took a slow start at the box office the film secured a box office opening worth only ₹ 2.55 Cr. The film collected ₹ 14.75 Cr through its first week and currently stands at a domestic total of approx. ₹ 15.27 Cr.

The film has been shot in two languages, with different supporting actors, the Hindi version features Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kannan, and Tinnu Anand, while the Tamil version has Radhika Sarathkumar, Shanmugaraja, Kevin Jay Babu, and Rajesh Williams.
