This year, Netflix has gifted us the hilarious Hindi web-series “Maamla Legal Hai”. It made us think that the court, a place we all middle class people avoid in our entire lifetime, can have some interesting comedy dramas. Released on March 1, 2024, Maamla Lehal Hai is a comedy courtroom drama which gathers many prominent faces on a single screen. And within a month, Netflix announced its second season. The makers dropped the season 2 announcement video today, and it assured the same hilarious fun it offered in the first season.
Ravi Kishan, Naila Grewal, Nidhi Bhisht, Yashpal Sharma, Anant Joshi will remain in the same prominent roles. Netflix made this announcement through its social media handle and captioned it, “Hasta hua lawyer sabse best dikhta hai- isiliye Patparganj ke cuties laut rahe hai!! Maamla Legal Hai is returning for a SECOND SEASON, coming soon, only on Netflix!” There is no clarification about the release date and additional cast of the series.
Executive producer of the show, Sameer Saxena, reflected on their venture saying, “Maamla Legal Hai was created with a genuineness that, we hoped, appeals to the audience. We are humbled by the overwhelming reception, the appreciation for its humour and the recognition of the performances and camaraderie of our cast members.”
Directed by Rahul Pandey, Maamla Legal Hai is a story of a court drama set in the Patparganj District Court. It will return soon on Netflix with madness, amusing characters and their playful chemistry to give audiences a hilarious experience.
