When Shatrughan Sinha Flirted With Jaya Prada At A Public Event

Jaya Prada and Shatrughan Sinha attended the Muhurat of their film "Bharat Bhagya Vidhata" and there he openly flirted with the actress in front of audiences.

Jaya Prada, a name attached to the political landscape of India, was once a prominent part of the silver screen. Actress Jaya Prada, who worked in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil movies turns 62 today on April 3rd. This gorgeous lady of B-town was the highest paid actress in Bollywood during the peak of her career. Due to her personal life issues, the actress took a temporary break and then made a comeback through “Bharat Bhagya Vidhata” film starring Shatrughan Sinha and Chandrachur Singh. During the Muhurat of the film, Shatrughan Sinha openly flirted with Jaya in front of the entire team.

Jaya Prada is a timeless, evergreen beauty of Indian Cinema. Though the actress left the film industry long back, one can’t forget her mesmerizing on-screen appearance. And so the Khamosh dialogue fame Shatrughan Sinha can’t resist himself from praising this elegant actress. The Muhurat event of Bharat Bhagya Vidhata took place in Delhi. The whole team of the movie danced at the event, and then they expressed their inner-self in front of the audience.

Shatrughan narrated his role in the film, and he said that he couldn’t be a minister in real life, but he got the chance to portray the Minister (Home Minister) in reel life. He continued, “Jaya Prada jinke mein pehle sapne dekha karta tha aur ab mein samne dekha karta hoon wo bhi iss film mein, meri bahot purani friend hai aur jab se meri shadi hui hai tabse mein family friend bolta hoon (Jaya Prada a girl I used to see in my dreams, and now I see her in front of me. She is also in the film, my friend from ages and, since I married, she is my family friend).” “I wanted to say something else, but I couldn’t as I am married”, he added. He quipped, “The one who never became mine in real life is my wife in reel life.”

When she addressed Delhi audiences saying, “Brothers and sisters…” Shatrughna Sinha interrupted her and told her that not a single person from the audience wanted to listen to the word Brother from her.  All the time when he was flirting with her, she was giggling on the stage.

Talking about the film, Bharat Bhagya Vidhata, directed by Ashok Tyagi, was released in the year 2002. Even after the star cast of the film, this movie about terrorism failed at the box office.
